Ayurvedic Perspective on COVID-19

Ayurveda medical system has a history of more than 5,000 years and initial days it was practised in Sri Lanka and Asia defined as a Life Science. It guides by protecting individuals promoting a healthy lifestyle, preventing them from falling ill and treating various ailments. It has enormously concentrated on personnel well-being, as well as social healthiness. Now Ayurveda is successfully practiced in Sri Lanka as a recognised medical system together with Traditional Medicine.The Corona Virus (COVID-19) is an infectious viral disease it mainly attacks the respiratory system causing Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS). At the moment, the disease is a global pandemic and the entire world is panicking due to the contiguous dispersion and high mortality. Sri Lankan's also suffer from a different kinds of endemic diseases such as leprosy, malaria, cholera, dengue; however, none of them are dangerous to paralyse the whole country for months in comparison to COVID-19.
